iTouch UK, part of iTouch plc was floated on the London Stock Exchange in August 2000, is headquartered in the UK with operations in 25 countries. iTouch was a member of the FTSE 100 Techmark index until delisting in May 2005 when acquired by JASDAQ listed Japanese group For-SideRedwire were asked to redevelop two websites for iTouch, Weathercall & Marinecall, produced in partnership with the Met Office, are the UK's leading provider of specialist weather forecasts, established in 1986.
They offer forecasts through many technology channels including telephone, mobile and internet. The Met Office, renowned for high quality and best in brand forecasts, supply all the meteorological information with iTouch UK providing the technical infrastructure.
The websites deliver forecast products for over 600 regions with daily and multiple subscription options and also tie-in live data feeds from the Met Office.
