Asset Value Investors
Asset Value Investors was established in 1985 to manage the assets of British Empire Securities and General Trust plc, then a £6 million London listed investment company and have since grown to a company with over £670m under management.
We were asked to redesign and develop their three web sites:
- Asset Value Investors
- British Empire Securities and General Trust plc
- The European Asset Value Fund
British Empire Securities and General Trust plc
British Empire is a closed-end investment trust listed on the London Stock Exchange and part of the FTSE 250 index. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
The European Asset Value Fund
The European Asset Value Fund (TEAVF) is an open-ended Société d'Investissement à Capital Variable (SICAV) fund. The investment objective is to provide long term capital growth from investment in the shares of property and property-related companies where the share price stands at a discount to underlying net asset value.
We created an online brand which was applied to AVI’s suite of websites. This included sourcing appropriate representational photography. Our development team have constructed several bespoke modules for the websites to ensure FSA compliance and enable communication with customers. In addition to this, AVI use our content management system to update their sites on a regular basis.

Nick and his team have really taken the time to understand what we needed and produced websites that offer a sophisticated look and feel. The design linked all of our individual sites together while at the same time maintaining an individual and modern look with appeal to a broad range of audience.Kimmberly Lau, Business Development Director
