Economist.com
Economist.com is the premier online source for the analysis of world business and current affairs attracting in excess of 400,000 page impressions per day.
We were initially invited to assist the Economist.com graphics team develop the design, layout and usability of their homepage, index pages and article pages.
Usability was an issue and encouraging visitors to explore more of the site's content was a key design goal, using improved navigation and quicker access to content.
As part of a major ongoing process, we have sucessfully developed the site design and templates, improving:
- Usability
- Accessability to the highest disability rating
- Page and content layout
- Site navigation
- Page weight
- Number and size of advertisements per page (increasing revenues)
In the summer of 2007 we began the process to design the Economist.com Blogs and Social Networking sites.
Our work with The Economist is ongoing, so check back for updates.
